Holiday Wonderland + Giveaways

Hi frenzies!

The holidays are here (Christmas is on Sunday, what????) and one of my favorite parts of the holidays, besides dressing for all of the fabulous holiday parties and events, is getting to see lots of friends and family. Since I have moved to California, I had to make the trek back to Atlanta and Athens to see my friends! I love traveling so this is not a problem (;

While I was back in Athens I thought that it would be fun to collaborate with a blogger whose work I love and with a jewelry creator whose pieces are incrediblllllle. I teamed up with The Downtown Darling and Serendipity Creations for a little (FREEZING COLD) shoot to showcase Serendipity Creations’ pieces and Fallon and I’s style. We wanted to do a subtle holiday style that you could dress up or down depending on the event and the location

We met up at Starbucks because it was actually freezing outside and I can’t start my day without coffee. We headed to the Tree Room, which is a cool little piece of Athens that is super unique. It is in the Cotton Press, which has been slightly restored and turned into a multi-purpose building. Offices, coffee shops, and creative spaces fill the area and one of those is a huge brick room that is split into two levels and contains a giant tree that extends all the way through what would be a roof, but is no longer in place.

We had fun shooting even though it was like we were in antarctica and I was wearing a mini dress which was probably a bad idea. My dress is from Nordstrom (where else?) and I have linked it here. My shoes are Sam Edelman from a season or so ago and I have linked a pair of BCBGeneratyion heels (that are on sale!!!!) just like them here. I have also linked a super similar leather jacket by Obey from Revolve here. My necklace is from Serendipity Creations and I purchased the only one but I have linked another super cute one here from them.

After the shoot we headed to Walkers Pub and Coffee and grabbed (more) coffee and chatted about our blogs, photography, and life. It was a super fun shoot and I am so happy we did it!
