Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy!
So there are a lot of things in life that I love. Coffee, blogging, plane rides, exploring. And these things all have one thing in common. Well, maybe more than one thing. But for the purpose of this post, 1 thing in common. THEY CAN ALL BE DONE IN A COMFY, CUTE SWEATER. Living in SoCal means checking the weather outside before you do anything. And right now, it is super chilly out. Not a “I need a huge puffy jacket to keep me warm” kind of chilly, but a nice comfy and warm sweater. I am listing out my favorite soft and trendy sweaters in this post so you all can be warm and stylin’ as well.
6 COMFY + TRENDY SWEATERS THAT YOU NEED IN YOUR CLOSET
So a few of these sweaters are Free People sweaters and that’s because Free People is an expert in the soft and stylish sweater department. So topping off the list is their “She’s All That” turtleneck sweater that is ON SALE AT NORDY. I wear this sweater allllll of the time. I am wearing it in the picture at the top of this post! We went and explored the Anaheim Packing District last weekend and it was so fun. It kept me warm and was great in this windy California weather that we are having right now.
ANAHEIM PACKING DISTRICT MUST HAVE’S: The grilled cheese shop and the Snow Monster shop. I mean, TO DIE FOR.
Second on the list is this flirty v-neck sweater, also from Free People and also on sale at Nordstrom. What would I do without Nordstrom sales, amiright? In the picture at the bottom of the post I paired it with my neutral stiff brimmed hat and my light, distressed Joe’s jeans with my favorite ankle booties by Sam Edelman. AND once I get my recent order from Mod + Jo, I will be adding some delicate layering necklaces. Ahhhh, I love styling outfits. One of life’s greatest joys. Anyways, back to the list.
This Topshop turtleneck sweater is one that I feel like you could totally dress up to make it a more chic look. A high, sleek ponytail and leather leggings with a pointed black boot? Yes please. Add an ear cuff (like this one) and this clutch for a pop of color and you are good to go.
I am jumping on the lace-up sweatshirt/sweater bandwagon apparently. I realllly love this Sincerely Jules lace up sweatshirt because it looks comfy as well as trendy.
Ummmm YES PLEASE. I just bought some amazing OTK black boots that would look awesome with this sweater dress. I am loving the off-the-shoulder vibe and how it’s casual yet super put together. This sweater dress by Kendall + Kylie from Revolve needs to be in my closet.
I looooove the distressed look of this white sweater from Nasty Gal. This would be so cute with either dark or light bottoms. Even a super cute pair of shorts since the sweater has slits on either side. I love how the model is wearing a choker with it. I would probably pair it with a cute hat as well (:
That brings us to the end of our super soft and comfy sweater list. We have at LEAST until February to enjoy being cozy in sweaters and I plan to make the most of it!!!
Wellllll, I am off to explore my new city and to begin packing for next week when I will be heading off to Atlanta to visit my people.
‘Till next time, xx
