Welcome back to Vogue and a Latte! Happy to have ya here.
Today I am bringing to you one of my favorite new things –> HUM Nutrition Vitamins!! HUM Nutrition is an all-natural line of supplements, powders and gummies that are sustainably sourced, made in the USA, non-GMO and free of soy, gluten, artificial colors, and preservatives, many are organic and vegan… aka my kinda product. They are focused on working from the inside out, as to prevent merely putting a bandaid on a problem and instead learning how to correct problems from the source! I have slowly been becoming a nutrition nut. I care waaaay more about what I put into my body now than I ever have before. As I am getting older, what I eat and put on my body makes a much more noticeable difference now than ever. I have been able to try two of their top selling vitamin combos: Killer Nails and Uber Energy. Both work wonders and absolutely make me want to try all of the vitamins from their extensive list. Some others that really caught my eye ( and ended up in my shopping cart ) are Daily Cleanse, Skinny Bird, Gut Instinct, and Flatter Me. You can find all of their products and read up on their ingredients and features here.
You can scroll to the bottom for a super amazing discount code on your HUM purchase! You seriously won’t regret it.

Just click the item and it will take you right to where you purchase the product. Brilliant, I know. )
Hiiii! Welcome to Vogue and a Latte!
I am currently sipping coffee while staring at a white sand beach with my bf. Does life get any better? The exciting thing about blogging ( and making money from blogging ) is that it doesn’t even feel like work most of the time. Writing this post while on a vacay, without distractions, is SO fun. I thought I would share with you guys some of my tips and tricks for prepping for your upcoming beach trip! Whether that be spring break, a weekend getaway, or just summer approaching.
I’m sitting in my bed with a candle from Anthro burning on my night stand (probably this one) and sipping on some wine after a workout and dinner with my bf. Life is goooood, y’all.
I’ve got a cute vday outfit for you gals. Chic, slightly colorful ( I know, outside of my vocabulary ) and comfy. It doesn’t fall in line with the cutesy red dresses that everyone is posting right now, not that I have anything against the flirty, fun, red minidresses. This is just my twist on how to be chic and cute for loves favorite holiday.
I have another look coming next week that is more edgy/sexy for Valentine’s Day, but I wanted to share this one first!
SHOP STATEMENT BOOTIES
This look has all of the components that I love about an outfit. A statement shoe, comfy jeans, a neutral sweater, and a bold accessory piece ( scarf in this case ). It’s all about balancing your colors/textures/neutrals. If you wanted to go a different direction with this look, you could do a statement necklace with a bold bag on your side.
There are a few pieces of this outfit that I want to highlight includingthis sweater. It has bell sleeves and is sooooo comfy and soft. It’s also the perfect gray sweater to dress up or down. I’ve worn it a million times since I got it!! I’m linking it here for all of your purchasing enjoyment.
These earringspictures below are also my absolute GO – TO gold hoop earrings. I wear them almost every day. They make me feel chic and put together and they add a finishing touch to my look. I feel like I love pieces that are the “finishing touch”… probably because I mostly just wear black all day, every day! Click here to add these babies to your every day arsenal.
I shot with a photographer in ATL named Taylor who totally rocks! If you guys have any photog needs, hit her up. I’ll link her website here.
What are y’alls plans for Valentine’s Day?? Galentine’s Day?? I personally think you should make the person that you love feel special on every day of the year, but Valentine’s Day is a fun excuse to get dressed up and give some extra special love and attention to your special someone. And eat lots of yummy chocolate!!
I have some new partnerships and collaborations coming up and I am SO excited to share them with you all! I also have an exciting giveaway happening soon with one of my new fave ATL bloggers. I am thrillllled for everything that is coming up in these next few weeks.
My socials are always exciting and happening so follow along with me @MadisonCrowley.
Hi! Welcome to my new blog: Vogue and a Latte. So glad you stopped by to check it out.
I have been contemplating a blog change for a while now. Forge A Frenzy just didn’t seem to describe me any more.
FaF was a brand new venture for me when I first started. It was stepping out of my comfort zone and trying to be bold in an area that I knew basically nothing about. I was trying to take my love for fashion and my eye for photos and put them all in one place. I didn’t really know how I would fall in love with blogging and how challenged I would be with this new passion. Blogging is not easy folks. Coming up with content, along with living your busy life, is something that takes time and perseverance. For me, that looked like taking my life and molding it into one that I could easily create content from. Combining what I already did/do daily and turning that into what my blog and brand is about.
I am extremely thankful for Forge A Frenzy. And I am extremely thankful that I no longer have to say my blog name and then respond to blank stares by quickly describing how and why I chose my blog name and what it means to me.
V&L is going to have a lot of the same content as Forge A Frenzy, and a lot of new content as well. New topics, new research; posts based on things I want to share and topics you all want to hear about. As per usual, if you clicked through for outfit details, scroll through to “SHOP THE POST” and click on an item that grabs your eye.
The New Year always causes me to stop and examine my life and everything that I have been blessed with. I’ve been trying to write this post for a few days now, and each time I try to write a sentence on how this year encompasses joy, happiness, and peace for me, I fall short. I always say that I can write how I feel, much better than I can say it. This is just not the case for this year. I have met people who have changed my life. I have had experiences that have changed my life. I have had perspectives that changed my life. I have lived in two vibrant and alive places that are filled with people who surround me, support me, and lift me up. They encourage me to be the best version of myself and showed me that I have the potential to be something great.
In 2017 I became the person that I always wanted to be. The person that I always saw when I looked into my early 20’s. And it shocked me. I set goals, and reached them. I saw parts of myself that I didn’t like, and so I changed them.
I learned to love myself. I learned to work harder than I thought possible and enjoy the rewards that come when you do so. I learned about self-control. I learned about budgeting. I learned that being an adult means making hard choices in order to reap benefits in the long run. I also learned that being an adult doesn’t mean that you have it all together. I learned to push past that inner voice telling me that I couldn’t do it.
Whatever “it” may be for you, you can, in fact, do it.
Ever have one of those weeks where it goes TOTALLY different than what you anticipate? Yea that was this week for me. This blog is going to have a little bit about sweaters and a little bit about life.
PSA: If you clicked on my blog post solely for sweater details, scroll down to the “Shop This Post” feed and view all of my sweater picks!!
I am SO pumped to be able to get back to doing what I love. Creating, writing, taking pictures, and wearing super cute outfits that I get to share with y’all.
Sweater dresses with OTK boots are my jam right now.
WOW. It has been way too long since I have even had a moment to spare to on my favorite pastime. My life has been up in the air and in the past month has taken so many unexpected turns. I figured I would write a post with updates since everyone has the same questions for me. First off: NO, I am not stopping blogging, I still love it just as much as ever!! New content WILL be back soon!!
I have moved back to Atlanta. This has been a surprise to some, but has been on my mind for a while. California is magical. It holds beauty and beaches and sunshine and palm trees and much more. It is a place where I grew exponentially. Where I learned about myself in ways I didn’t know that I needed to learn. And I loved it there, truly. I think that is something people have been asking me a lot about and I think people feel that I have had a negative experience. That could not be more false. I have made life long friends here. I have made memories I will never forget. And apparently gotten more cheesy. LOL. But a LOT of my heart is in Atlanta. A lot of it. I spent a lot of time in the word and in prayer and seeking guidance for the right path to take. And I know that after spending more time in California, it would begin to feel a lot more like home. But I took a good look at my heart and my thoughts and tried to get to the bottom of where I wanted to be.
This last week has been crazzzzzzzy. I feel like they all are kind of, but this one especially. I had a super busy work week, weekend, and an ever growing to-do list. I have a lot of secret plans that I’m working on that I will hopefully be able to share with you guys in the next few months. Change is coming, y’all.
In today’s post I am wearing two different shirts with one skirt (obviously) but it’s because I loved this skirt so much and couldn’t decide which shirt I wanted to showcase so I was like, what the heck, I’ll just post them both!
Mini-skirts are BACK and I couldn’t be happier about it. I love the style of these skirts and how they are fun, flirty, and can basically go with anything. This particular one is from Urban Outfittersand has double zips that actually zip up and down. Risky? Perhaps. But it makes for a super cool look.
I paired this skirt with my Y’all shirt from Citizen Supply for the first look with this skirt. I love Citizen Supply, it is the coolest space in Ponce City Market. So many different areas and handmade goods as well as places to shoot as well. This shirt is from the brand In God We Must, which obviously speaks to my soul. I could probably get this shirt in every color and wear them all of the time and be content. They have so many other cool products and you should totally check them out!
I also wore this skirt with my star shirt from Urban Outfitters. They both have a similar style but different colors and feels to them. I love simplicity and this pretty plain but super cute shirt takes care of that. I don’t like to have TOO much going on in my outfits. One statement piece (aka a skirt with double zippers) and a more tame second piece is how I style my looks.
I wore my with these looks but we didn’t get a shot with them in it! ):
To be honest, I have so much content that I want to write about but I haven’t had any time to write. Blogging is such a creative outlet for me and something that I love doing, but life has really been getting in the way of me being able to do just that. Getting home from work too tired, choosing working out over resting, then spending time with friends and in community over writing, then resting because I’m exhausted when I could be writing.
Being busy definitely has fun aspects. Creating new memories, always having something going on, getting out of the house and getting new content ideas. But when you don’t have time for the things that are really important to you, it’s time to take a second and evaluate what your priorities are and what matters to you in the long-run.
If everything you’re doing matters to you and you thrive on constantly doing things, then that is excellent! More power to you! I am unfortunately not blessed with such gifts. So, I am prioritizing the things that I have to do and the things that I GET to do and where they all fit. Thank Jesus for the weekends is all I have to say. I need time to myself to recharge and having a constantly full planner makes it hard to do that.
It’s time to reevaluate my daily schedule and make room for the important stuff. Updates shall be given.
While I’m getting my priorities of life together (does anyone really ever have them all together????), follow me on my social media for more day-to-day happenings! Aka lots of photos of the cutest 1 year old you will ever see and my tiny toy yorkie poodle.
Wow it has been a good two weeks since I have last posted and that is a PROBLEM!! As you know, I went to Atlanta and once again had a fabulous time with all of my friends in one of my favorite cities. Atlanta is growing to be such an incredible place filled with art and trends and never ending places to explore. So much of my heart is in that city.
