Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

I am all about eating healthy and I am all about eating healthy EASILY. If it is too much work and I am not in the mood, I will chose unhealthy snacks/meals over the healthy ones. And that is not the right move! I am currently trying to eliminate dairy completely from my diet, which is horrible considering pizza is a main food group in my book. My go-to breakfast and snack currently is overnight oats! They are healthy, filling, and EASY. I have many different recipes that I rotate but the one I have chosen to showcase today is an apply cinnamon situation.

Early morning meeting?  Needing a quick meal before pilates? This is the perfect option.
It is easy to make multiple different recipes the night before and have your choice of flavor waiting for you the next day.

Beauty Roundup: 9 Beauty Must Haves

Welcome to Forge A Frenzy babes!
I love being productive and I really really love starting a new week refreshed from a full yet relaxing weekend. That includes blogging away the day about my favorite beauty finds!

Mini side note: I have recently joined ClassPass. If you haven’t heard about ClassPass, here’s a recap: ClassPass is a nation-wide company that allows you to take a wide array of workout classes, from dozens of different studios, and places the classes and reservations all in one place! They have locations in all major cities and even some smaller ones as well. You sign up, choose your location, and then begin browsing all of the available classes and their times that work best for you. There are 3 different types of memberships with varying prices that allow a certain amount of classes per month and a certain amount of visits to an individual studio per month. I chose the largest membership deal because I need to get hella toned for this SoCal summer that is quickly approaching. The largest option is $115 a month for 10 classes! With up to 3 available visits per studio. I’m obsessed. I’ve been doing barre and pilates like its my JOB since I started. It’s also an excuse to get a cute new gym bag (;

La Jolla + The Cave Store

Hi frenzies!

Last weekend, some friends and I ventured down to San Diego to explore and meet up with some friends who were Airbnb-ing a beach house. The people part definitely didn’t go as planned (real life people really DO do cocaine), but the exploring part was even better than we anticipated.

On our way back the morning after an awesome turned horrible night, we stopped in La Jolla because one of my friends that I was with, Kayla, she rocks, mentioned that she had heard about a store that you could enter and it was like a little gift shop and then you pay $5 to walk down stairs and into a cave! I loooooove caves and secret staircases and hidden gems so this was like music to my ears. We put it in the GPS and headed to La Jolla from Pacific Beach.

See Ya Later, 2016

Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy, where coffee is always in hand and thoughts are running 100 miles a minute.

I have been debating whether or not to write a full on, deep, nostalgic post to sum up 2016, or to keep it short and sweet. I have decided to do a mixture of both. Being a blogger means allowing people to get to know the person that you are, beyond the screen. That is an aspect I have come to love about the bloggers that I follow myself and about those who reach out to me. That being said, vulnerability isn’t always easy.

New Year’s is my favorite holiday because everyone takes a little bit of time out of their busy lives to get together and celebrate the hope that is the new year. I get even more cheesy on New Year’s Eve apparently

In 2016 I:
Finished up my Presidency with the Student Merchandising Association
Struggled with my weight
Graduated from the University of Georgia
Became single
Completed my dream internship with Nordstrom
Allowed myself to push past fear and open the door to my very own creative outlet with Forge A Frenzy
Gained confidence + faith in myself that I did not know I could ever have
Still struggled with my weight, despite said confidence
Moved to California from my childhood home, 2,200 miles across the country
Became un-single
Experienced excitement at the idea of creating new friendships and possibilities in a brand new city
Experienced sadness and terror at the idea of creating new friendships and possibilities in a brand new city

How To Eat Your Way Through Athens, GA + More

Welcome back frenzies <3

Most people would never, ever want to escape Southern California. I am one of those people. But, when you move from your childhood home to a new place, no matter how incredible it is, your heart still longs for familiarity and comfort. I was able to fly back to Georgia for a week for my boyfriend’s graduation where I also got to see some of my very best friends. When I first arrived, one of my bffs from college (weird saying from college because it feels like I was just in college yesterday) picked me up from the airport. We got Starbucks (I have a problem, I’ll admit) (My favorite order right now is The Holiday Spice Flat White, thanks Kels) and headed to the Classic City. We arrived and ate lunch at The Place, which has super yummy southern comfort food. I was feeling gross from traveling overnight so I got a BLT on multigrain bread with a side of fruit but threw in a mimosa because hey, you only live once. Kelsie got their special of the day which was BBQ and even though I don’t like BBQ (I know, it’s a crime), her food still looked delicious.

6 Comfy +Trendy Sweaters That You Need

Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy!

So there are a lot of things in life that I love. Coffee, blogging, plane rides, exploring. And these things all have one thing in common. Well, maybe more than one thing. But for the purpose of this post, 1 thing in common. THEY CAN ALL BE DONE IN A COMFY, CUTE SWEATER. Living in SoCal means checking the weather outside before you do anything. And right now, it is super chilly out. Not a “I need a huge puffy jacket to keep me warm” kind of chilly, but a nice comfy and warm sweater. I am listing out my favorite soft and trendy sweaters in this post so you all can be warm and stylin’ as well.
