So many fun things happening this weekend including my favorites: adventuring and brunch. That’s pretty much what my weekends consist of nowadays. And I am NOT complaining.
Happy day back from the long weekend, everyone! Coming back from 4 days off to work and to-do lists and schedules isn’t ideal, but when you love what you do, it’s a little bit easier.
Welcome back and Happy Valentines Day (or Galentines Day in my case)!! I am here to chat about gal-pals and their importance as well as open up about how long distance relationships with your bffs are incredibly hard, but incredibly worth it.

Happy Fri-YAY and welcome back to one of my personal favorite places to be, Forge A Frenzy!
So, just a mini recap on my life, moving across the country can take a lot out of ya. And when you find your energy after that process, normally making friends/unpacking box after box takes priority over my endless and growing blog to-do list. Now that things are settled, I have been able to finally take time to focus on what I love most, being creative and designing beautiful things.
Welcome to Forge A Frenzy babes!
I love being productive and I really really love starting a new week refreshed from a full yet relaxing weekend. That includes blogging away the day about my favorite beauty finds!
Mini side note: I have recently joined ClassPass. If you haven’t heard about ClassPass, here’s a recap: ClassPass is a nation-wide company that allows you to take a wide array of workout classes, from dozens of different studios, and places the classes and reservations all in one place! They have locations in all major cities and even some smaller ones as well. You sign up, choose your location, and then begin browsing all of the available classes and their times that work best for you. There are 3 different types of memberships with varying prices that allow a certain amount of classes per month and a certain amount of visits to an individual studio per month. I chose the largest membership deal because I need to get hella toned for this SoCal summer that is quickly approaching. The largest option is $115 a month for 10 classes! With up to 3 available visits per studio. I’m obsessed. I’ve been doing barre and pilates like its my JOB since I started. It’s also an excuse to get a cute new gym bag (;
Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy and happy hump day!
I have been furiously working to get my photography portion of Forge A Frenzy (@MadisonCrowleyPhotography on Insta) up and running. I have been editing like a crazy woman and finally putting all of my work into one place –> my portfolio page under the photography tab!! It is super exciting for me and I would LOVE to do a shoot for you! I have a ‘details and pricing’ info page under the photography tab as well. I love taking photos and I would be thrilled to take yours.
ANYWAYS back to the topic of this post – 1000 STEPS BEACH IN LAGUNA BEACH. Wow, when we (my little sister, Morgan, and her bff, Cleopatra) wanted to go somewhere close to explore, Laguna Beach was the first thing that came to mind. Only a 20 minute drive from Newport and generally no traffic. P.S. avoid toll roads at all costs. I had seen 1000 Steps Beach on Pinterest very frequently and was curious how to get there and how to get to the place where everyone took the famous (ish) photos.
Most people would never, ever want to escape Southern California. I am one of those people. But, when you move from your childhood home to a new place, no matter how incredible it is, your heart still longs for familiarity and comfort. I was able to fly back to Georgia for a week for my boyfriend’s graduation where I also got to see some of my very best friends. When I first arrived, one of my bffs from college (weird saying from college because it feels like I was just in college yesterday) picked me up from the airport. We got Starbucks (I have a problem, I’ll admit) (My favorite order right now is The Holiday Spice Flat White, thanks Kels) and headed to the Classic City. We arrived and ate lunch at The Place, which has super yummy southern comfort food. I was feeling gross from traveling overnight so I got a BLT on multigrain bread with a side of fruit but threw in a mimosa because hey, you only live once. Kelsie got their special of the day which was BBQ and even though I don’t like BBQ (I know, it’s a crime), her food still looked delicious.
